Bingo afficionados have a language of their own, when you combine that with internet abbreviations, it gets pretty confusing.

An online bingo chat room can be very confusing at first. There might be two or three conversations going on at once, and people are throwing acronyms around like you have to pay by the letter.

So here's a list of some of the phrases you might come across.

1TG (2TG) - how many balls that player has to go

AFAIK - As Far As I Know

AFK - Away From Keyboard

BBS - Be Back Soon

BLNT - Better Luck Next Time

BRB - Be Right Back

BTW - By The Way

CYA (L8R)- See Ya (Later) - say it out loud if you don't get it

FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

FYI - For Your Information

GG - Good Game

GL (A / E) - Good Luck (All / Everyone)

GM - Good Morning

GN - Good Night

GTG - Got to Go

GTSY - Good To See You

HB - Hurry Back

IC - I see

IRL - In Real Life

JK - Just Kidding

LMAO - Laughing My Ass Off

LOL - Laughing Out Loud

Lofting - Talking in Private Chat (used to be called the loft I think)

LTNS - Long Time No See

NP - No Problem

OIC - Oh I see

OMG - Oh My "Goodness"

PM - Private Message

PPL - People

QT - Cutie

ROFL - Rolling On the Floor Laughing

SAC - Sorry All Close (what the winner sometimes says to be nice)

SRY - Sorry

TTYL - Talk To You Later

TY(VM) - Thank You (Very Much)

WB - Welcome Back

WTG - Way To Go

Y(V)W - You're (Very) Welcome

Then there's the "emoticons" that people use.

:) Smile
;) Wink
:P Sticking tongue out
:( Sad face
(((Name))) = Hugs for Name

These are the three main ones, but there are dozens of other ones, some of which have to be seen to be believed. I hope this helped - if you're not sure, ask, people usually love explaining things.
