The infamous streaker-promoting, Virgin Mary sandwich buying, Golden Palace now has a poker room. It is part of the Tribeca Poker Network. Tribeca provides poker software to online casinos and sportsbooks.
Golden Palace players are at the same low level as pretty much everywhere. The $1-2 games are especially soft, I think it's because of the influx of small stakes casino players.
The first cashout can be a little slow (like 7 days) - because they ask for several forms of ID. But after that, they speed up. They have Live Support, and the staff actually know how to answer questions in English - the trade-off is that it can take a while to get the answer. Email support is also slow but accurate.
The software looks a little low-tech, but it runs quickly, and without any noticeable bugs. The buttons and the community cards are a little small, but in general, the interface is clean.
Tournaments start every 10 to 20 minutes, and are generally small buy in (inlcuding a 1c No Limit Rebuy, which is great for practice).
Regardless of whether you support their bizzare advertising methods, Golden Palace is a solid room, and is definately worth a look.
