FAQ: Why can't I just download the CMS?

The CashMirrors program is proprietary software. The admin area is closed source code. Similar to cPanel, it cannot be downloaded on to your server. This allows us to monetize the program, and to provide our users with the latest updates and best service. If you want access to it, you need a subscription.

As mentioned in the Technical Questions, it is possible to host your websites, including all of their scripts and data, on your own server. It is only the admin area you must log into via BuildAffiliateWebsites.com. If you don't need the admin area (ie. You just want to download the website as HTML/CSS and upload it to your server "as is") then you don't need a subscription.
